Trouble with Funds?

Since the last update in the January-February Docket Sheet, 12 complaints have been submitted to this committee which is an increase of 20% over last period, but that's only two complaints as last
period was only 10 complaints.

Of those 12 complaints received:

    • 0 have been Non-Payment Complaints with 0 closed and 0 pending.

    • 1 have been Unethical Complaints with 1 closed and 0 pending.

    • 11 have been Notices of Intent to File Complaint with 9 closed and 2 pending.

The Committee has issued two (2) Pattern of Behavior Warning Letters during this period.

It seems if members would make an effort to ensure their fellow members were paid on time, we would see a decrease in the number of Notice of Intents to File a Complaint. Maybe some members are still experiencing funding shortcomings from the holiday slowdown.

I also wanted to remind members that the complaints are filed upon individual members and not the company. Please make sure your documents list one or all members of that company in order to proceed. You also need to provide all of the necessary evidence and documentation to ensure a fair outcome. This committee can not gather evidence on your behalf.

On a brighter note, I look forward to the upcoming Annual Convention in May 2017 in New Orleans! I hope all of you can try to attend. Whether attending or not, you may register on the Whova App to see what events are scheduled and other members are doing.
