Cyber Justice meeting in Strasbourg
A meeting of the European Council was held in Strasbourg for the 1st time on Cyber Justice. Forty-seven countries of the Council were present to discuss issues surrounding the technical and moral issues of the use of technology in the courts.
This was the first meeting held on the subject of Cyber Justice in Europe, but will not be the last. Experts from all over the world gave presentations on available technologies, including the new Blockchain and Smart Contract technologies. At the end of the day, a discussion was held on the moral issues that would have to be considered with the use of these new technologies.
