Michigan HB 4924

Michigan HB 4924 would allow for increases to process service rates for papers served out of a court in Michigan.  The increases are for summons and complaint, affidavit and account, order to show cause, subpoena, notice of sale (now $25 plus mileage), Writ of Garnishment ($22 plus mileage), order to seize goods or property, order of eviction, civil bench warrant ($39 plus mileage), receiving and filing a bond ($19 plus mileage), service by mail ($12) and each incorrect address ($15).  This bill is up for its third reading.
