Winter Conference
Share
The NSA held it's Winter Conference in Washington DC last January. The committee we sit on was re-structured. The “Court Security Transportation of Prisoners and Civil Process Committee”, “Youth Programs and Juvenile Justice Committee”, and “Jail, Detention, and Corrections Committee” were combined under the name: “Court Security, Civil and Corrections Committee.” As you can imagine, this is now a very large committee covering a variety of subjects. To handle this problem, the NSA created several subcommittees under the umbrella of the new combined committee. Gary, Fred and Sue remain voting members of the new committee. This leads me to our big news for our National Relations Committee. Gary, Fred and I are now the NSA's subcommittee on Civil Process. Gary became the chair of the new committee.
