Proposed Ohio Civil Rules Changes
Ohio Civil Rule 4.2 This proposed change would allow for confidentiality of service through the Secretary of State. This allows for victims of domestic violence and persons at risk of harm should their address be disclosed by allowing service to be accepted by the Secretary of State.
Civil Rule 33, 34, and 36 This proposed change would disallow service of discovery simultaneously with service of the summons and complaint.
