Attending the conference of the National Sheriff's Associati
On June 21, 2021, Fred Blum and Sue Collins attended the annual conference of the National Sheriffs Association. We are voting members of the "Court Security, Prisoner Transport and Civil Process Committee" During today's session we each were allowed to present the activities of NAPPS.
Fred discussed that a the end of June 2021 the moratorium on the filing and service of mortgage foreclosures and past due rents will be lifted. Fred suggested that NAPPS members would be able to assist sheriffs around the country with original service of process.
The suggestion was well accepted and we will have a new release printed that will be distributed to all sheriffs in attendance at this year's conference. The conference had about 2,000 members here in attendance.
